Two distinct concentrations—FinTech, and Corporate Finance & Investment—enable students to build specialized skills across different facets of the financial industry.  Students may declare their concentrations with their initial application to the programme.”

The FinTech Concentration Focuses on advanced applications of technology in financial services, equipping students with skills to thrive in the evolving financial sector. It offers a comprehensive exploration of key FinTech topics, including machine learning, blockchain, and big data analytics, while fostering practical programming expertise. Designed for students with strong quantitative abilities, this concentration welcomes diverse backgrounds, such as Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, and Business. Graduates will be well-prepared to create and implement innovative financial technologies across all facets of the financial services industry.

The Corporate Finance and Investment Concentration (CFI) Delivers a robust curriculum grounded in theoretical foundations and enriched with practical applications. Tailored for professionals navigating the dynamic fields of finance and investment, it prepares students for diverse careers in traditional sectors like banking, mutual funds, brokerage, and investment banking, as well as related areas such as regulation, government, and academia. This concentration suits students seeking advanced training across the full spectrum of modern finance, equipping them with the skills to excel in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.

The Master of Science Programme in Finance is available as a part-time option. Same as the full-time mode, it offers world-class faculty and accomplished senior professionals. Featuring international education standards, an English immersion learning environment, and equipped with financial laboratories and other first-class teaching facilities, our programme supplements these with external industry resources and real-world experiences. Outside of the classroom, the programme offers an abundance of extracurricular activities helping students improve their connections, enhance their professional skills and boost their core competitiveness. Qualified graduates will be awarded the master's degree from CUHK, which will be certified by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE).
