Director’s Message
Welcome to the Master of Science Programme in Finance! Our programme is a rigorous and highly-selective programme that inherits the academic rigor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong with an international education standard and an English immersion learning environment. Our unique approach to instruction comes from our world-class faculty conducting cutting-edge research across modern financial topics, together with senior-level practitioners from top-tier financial institutions. Students absorb not only financial theory but also the latest market practices across both domestic and international financial sectors.
In terms of curriculum design, all required courses in the Finance program are accredited by AACSB International, ensuring a world-class education level. Beginning with the 2022 intake, we will reorganize the program into two concentrations, FinTech Concentration and Financial Management (FM) Concentration, to allow students to tailor their financial skill development. The FM concentration, focusing on traditional capital markets, will be operated on both a full-time and part-time basis, while the highly quantitative FinTech track will be available for full-time students.
