个人简介
谭安厚教授出生和长大于加拿大西部，居住在埃德蒙顿和温尼伯。他之前分别获得了艾伯塔大学的历史文学学士学位，北京语言文化大学的汉语言硕士学位和南京大学的历史学硕士学位。之后获得了香港中文大学的工商管理硕士学位，及纽约大学斯特恩商学院的金融与金融专业的国际商务博士学位。他于1980年参与了中国第一所商学院的筹建，即位于大连的国家工业科学与技术管理中心，随后在香港从事银行业和咨询业长达7年。他曾于2003年至2013年在香港中文大学任职，自2015年以来一直在香港中文大学（深圳）任职。在加入香港中文大学之前，他是加拿大麦克马斯特大学财务系副教授。他已与Joanna结婚，并有两个儿子Owen和Jason。他的爱好包括越野滑雪、帆板运动、散步和唱歌。
