FINest Hour | Enterprise Visit: A visit to BYD
On November 26, 2021, our students led by Professor Shu Tao, visited the Hexagon Building of BYD headquarters for visits. During this trip, students felt the charm of BYD's new energy technology through activities such as company introduction, new car test drive, and battery performance demonstration.
By visiting BYD's exhibition hall, students learned about BYD's development process, which reflects BYD's pursuit and transcendence of technological innovation. As a leader in new energy vehicles, BYD's products have spread to more than 90 cities in more than 20 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom after more than 20 years of development.
Professor Shu Tao, associate director of Shenzhen Finance Institute and director of MSc Programme in Finance, gave an opening speech for the visiting, which encouraged the enthusiasm of the students to participate in this activity.
Our students had in-depth discussions and communication on technology, development and future planning.
Being able to learn and communicate with such a cutting-edge enterprise in the industry, our students have gained a lot from this trip.
