On April 10, 2021, students and alumni of Master of Science in Finance (Part-time) came to Block C of WeWork, Shenzhen, and visited Yang Xianzhao, an alumnus of Class of 2018 (Director of Office Management Department, China Resources Mixc Lifestyle Services Limited) of the company he works for. This time he will lead the students to visit the industrial accelerator of China Resources - "Run Accelerator". Our programme specially arranged a lunchon with Professor Shu Tao, the Director of the Master of Science in Finance for this event, letting students have opportunities to communicate with professor after visiting.

First of all, Mr. Yang Xianzhao, introduced the overall situation of Nanshan Science and Technology Financial City and "Run Acceleration" under China Resources to all FINests. FINests got a brief overview through the short video.

Later, Mr.Yang Xianzhao gave a general introduction to the advantages of corporate brand and headquarters resource in terms of the positioning of development, sales of the whole building, finance, technology, etc.

Students and alumni took a group photo with Professor Shu Tao, Programme Manager Yang Xiaoxu and guests from China Resources at the end of introduction session.

Afterwards, students and alumni visited the offices of the building. The comfortable office environment combines work and entertainment. Not only can you play billiards and practice ringing the listing bell, but there is also a certain space in the office for growing tomatoes and other agricultural products.

Then, FINests came to the 6th floor of Block C and visit Run Acceleration. There also held a conference discussion with alumni and guests of WeWork and Run Acceleration.

Mr. Yang Xianzhao introduced the main functions and advantages of WeWork, full-chain business capabilities, business scope (opening, leasing management, operation management services) and unique advantages, and finally mentioned the industrial innovation of business expansion. "Run Acceleration" connects different industrial resources, and plays an important role in sustainable development and social responsibility in business extension.

Mr. Yang Xianzhao and Mr. Huo Nanxi, class of 2018 from MSc in Finance (Part-time), expressed their feelings about MSc in Finance. They both claimed that the solid financial knowledge will be of great help to their career development.

Mr. Bao Lin, the person in charge of the expansion and planning group of Run Acceleration, also introduced "Run Acceleration" from the success of the "extreme perspective" case, and mentioned face recognition, emotion recognition, etc. not only in theaters but also in various situations under the application. Professor Shu Tao pointed that it could be used in our class to test students' satisfaction with the quality of teaching.

After the introduction from Mr. Bao Lin, there was a Q & A session about how the industrial park survives in China Resources and where its advantages lie.

After the visit, FINests had lunch with Professor Shu Tao to discuss and share with each other.
